Volunteer Opportunities
Because of increased need in the community, our volunteers are even more important than ever before. We would not be able to continue our service without them.
If you would like to get involved, please read the information below, which describes our most common volunteer needs.
If you would like to volunteer for the Foundation, just fill out our volunteer request form and let us know how you would like to help. If you would like to participate in a way that you don’t see below, please feel free to contact us.

Town Coordinators
Town Coordinators build on-going relationships with local police departments, schools and town officials to identify children in need. The Town Coordinator identifies names, reaches out to families, maintain lists, and assists with the organization of shopping and delivery. The time commitment to be a Town Coordinator is large and the position calls for excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Fundraisers/Grant writers
As a small non-profit, raising funds is a year-round challenge. We are in desperate need of volunteers to write grants or organize school or community group events, manage mailings or assist with researching and applying for corporate grants.
Transporters
We’re always in need of people who can lift heavy objects, stack and move tons of toys and boxes, and transport gifts from one location to another. The time commitment to volunteer as a transporter is varied – you can volunteer as much or as little time as you’d like. Volunteers with pick up trucks or covered trailers are always welcome!
Horse Handlers/Helpers
Do you love animals? Learn to be a horse handler, groomer or trainer. Hands on not your thing? We need volunteers to help us with crowd control, answer question and provide general assistance during events.
Other
If you are a skilled writer, graphic or web designer, photographer or videographer, we need your help. We are also in need of people with excellent computer skills – especially Excel. The time commitment is varied and is usually dependent on the project.
