On the 15th anniversay of September 11th, Jon Stewart spent his day with Mini Horse Heroes, Honor & Hamlet thanking first repsonders and their families for their continual sacrifiecs to keep our country safe. Spending the day with the children Jon even learned how to play Pokemon!

Although September 11, 2016 marked the 15th anniversary of our nation's sorrow, Honor & Hamlet had a different approach to the day. The two Mini Horse Heroes loaded into their van and embarked on a days long journey to honor and thank first responders for their continual acts of selflessness. Honor and Hamlet spent the day visiting with first responders recognizing the bravery and dedication these men, women and families demonstrate everyday.

Honor made a guest appearence at the Middletown Police Department Youth Week Camp; visiting with youth and officers to establish an understanding of the importance of the work Mini Horse Heros provides in working on community relations and crisis situations. Afterwards the "officers in training" had the opportuntiy to ask questions, interact with Honor and take a look at Big Brother Hamlet's official Police badge.

The Ken Tietjen Memorial Foundation DBA Mini Horse Heroes was honored to be the recipient of a $1,000.00 grant from Wells Fargo Bank. The grant was awarded as part of Well's Fargo's Community Connections program, recogonizing programs like Mini Horse Heroes for their contributions to community outreach. The Foundation truly appreciates the support Wells Fargo has provided to enable Mini Horse Heroes to continue to work within the community.

Honor was delighted to spend his day visiting with families of active Navy and Army men and women; many of whom just returned from over seas. Celebrating the bravery of these men and women is all in a days work for Honor and he certaintly doesn't mind making new friends! A wonderful day shared by all!

Artist and the Calgo Gardens community come together at "Art in the Garden" to support Mini Horse Heroes! It was a fun springtime event at Calgo Gardens, located in Howell Township, Freehold NJ that included Melanie Tsilivitis, Visionary Artist & Owner of 28 Lifelines. Melanie, a supporter of Mini Horse Heroes, donated a painting of miniature therapy Horse, Honor, to benefit the organization. And the winner of the painting was Anthony G. Sarra.
